2011 Year of the Dubstep ???

No blister update today guys as my hand is exactly the same as yesterday, sorry to those who look forward to these updates, but there should be one tomorrow, so no need to fear.

Firstly, massive congratulations for Jamie Duffield for discovering Dubstep, i'm a massive fan of the genre as well as Drum and Bass so please keep digging into the genre mate and you'll only keep finding more and more music that you'll love. The genre has been around since the 00's in small clubs in London after break away artists from the "garage" scene and has finally emerged into the public eye this summer with artists now having dubstep as a backbeat. For example, the widely know song and personally, someone who i reckon will own 2011 in the music scene, Katy B - Katy on a Mission.

But no wait there is more music coming your way, after losing my iPod nano, i tuned into Radio 1 and heard new band, The Vaccines, and i predict big things for these guys. What do you lot think of them? Below is the offical music video, of the song The Vaccines - Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)

Finally, one last video, especially to fill the taste buds of Big G, Wretch 32 - Traktor.

But another couple people to look out for are, Jamie Woon, Yuck, and Nero. So just a few people who i think could do well next year in music after hearing them on youtube and a couple radio stations listening late at night whilst driving back from Plymouth at 11pm at night .

  1. I didn't think much of Jamie Woon to be honest. I saw him play in Bourney with Dan. He was supporting La Roux and he was no better than average :/
